I'm doing some computer graphics. While it's not very sophisticated, it has been kind of fun. One of the class requirements was to post two projects to Youtube.
The first clip was created in Vue, so it looks pretty snazzy but is necessarily short.
The second clip was just simple OpenGL code to demonstrate inverse kinematics (modeling motion).
For fun, see if you can think of good sound/music to go with the clips. Enjoy!

Wow, the response has been truly ... more than humbling. Maybe I should make this a private blog; save myself some dignity. Anyway, there's some pretty decent usage projects we created for this online gallery as well. Enjoy:

I saw them! I saw them!
Very impressive...as in I would have absolutely no idea where to even begin if I were trying to make something similar.
Wow, Daniel! Impressive. By way of music, I thought of Also Sprach Zarathustra (sp?) for the chess game, and The Entertainer for the longer, segment-y clip. Do you have any more clips to share? It's pretty amazing to think that someone I know created something so "cool." (Pardon my use of that word; Joseph tells me it isn't exactly "Miller-approved," but then, he never went to high school.)
